The South Central Sierra Type II team includes support and members from many agencies. This is a diverse interagency team with vast experience in all hazard/all risk incidents and travel throughout the states during emergencies.
From Hurricane Katrina response to the Ferguson Rockslide this team travels anywhere, anytime! Team members work in the province of the Sequioa National Forest, Stanislaus National Forest, Sierra National Forest, Bureau of Land Management, Kern County Fire Department, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia Kings National Park, Oakdale Fire Department, Bakersfield City Fire Department, the Mariposa County Fire Department, and NPS Hawaii.
